Partner was not sufficiently pre-peared for this one I'd just cooked dinner, but I had a really tiny pear from a fruit box, so I cut that up and added it on the side. Me: I've pre-peared your food :D Her: [the 'not another awful pun' look] Me: a-pear-antly it wasn't as funny as I hoped Her: [groan imminent] Me: pear-haps next time :D Her: [full groan achieved] Not a dad currently but I'm practicing lol.
