My 16 year old just hit me with a good one... Kid texts me about an itchy bugbite. Wife is going to have to go to the school this afternoon anyways to support an afterschool activity where they'll both be there all night. Kid asks me to have the wife bring some cortisone cream. Wife is looking for the cream and kid says "It's in my dresser drawer." Wife finds like 3 other medications that we've been looking for (common over the counter stuff that kid has been using and just didn't put back.) I teasingly tell the kid "you in trouble. Mom just found all the meds we can't find....in your drawer... Can you please put things away when you're done with them?" Kid apologized and said those are just things being used often. I say "No big deal. " Kid replies: "I know. It's not like you found drugs in my.... ...oh."
