A Beatles and Tennis Pun After losing a nasty bet about who was the handsomest Beatle, Ringo Starr was inexplicably dropped into Wimbledon to play against Roger Federer. Shaking and trembling with fear, Ringo began singing one of his group's greatest hits. Federer was so irritated, he threw down his racquet and left the court before he could get a single volley in. When reporters asked Ringo how he felt about winning a 0-0 match, he said: "I was hoping to score one point against him just to get a number on the board...but in the end, all you need is love."
