How the Angel came to be on top of the Christmas tree A very long time ago on December 24th, Santa was having a rough time. There hadn't been any snow in December. The Elves had gone on strike. The reindeer had gotten some bad feed and were ill with the 'squirts and Rudolf had a cold. The sleigh had a broken ski. Mrs Claus was in a foul mood. The cookies were burnt. No marshmellows for the hot chocolate. Santa's hemorrhoids were acting up and he was not happy about the long ride he was about to take. The angles seeing this poor state of affairs, decided to give the Claus family a beautifully decorated Christmas tree. An angle was chosen to deliver the tree as a surprise. So the angle burst into the workshop and exclaimed, "WHERE DO YOU WANT ME TO PUT THIS TREE?" And that my friends is how the angel came to be on top of the Christmas tree.
