Got my college age son Last night when we were watching the Grammys, there was an ad for how AI could help your business chain logic. My son is currently taking differential equations in college, and we've been talking about how it's used. I've been explaining how linear algebra and differential equations form the heart of how AI operates. Now my son has been on an odd, "Something? More like bad rhyme!" Meta humor kick, the worse the joke, the better. So he responded the ad by saying, "AI? More like GAY-I!" I responded, "Of course they have to use gay-I. Remember how I said AI was just massive amounts of applied *linear* algebra?" My son looked at me, expecting something awful. "They can't use that, it's too straight!" Yes, my first higher math Dad joke!
