Dad joke - skit Man, I did this years ago with both my kids and their friends and it was so funny, it just dawned on me to post here. Wife hated it too, only further confirming my comic genius. Kids play sports? Perfect, do it like 20 times. Here's the sequence, do it with everyone, repeat, enjoy. (Background, it'll work with everyone, and younger kids get really confused) Step one, straight face, make small compliment about target/mark and then casually approach with fist casually out, looking for the "bro" or "props" fist-bump. Step two, upon fist to fist contact, immediately react like your hand has been broken/shattered, make ridiculous emotional face (I'm typically pretty reserved) and mouth the words "why?" As your other hand now clutches your "hurt hand." Stumble around a bit. Watch for kids' puzzled looks who wonder if you're ok (really they're laughing inside, trust me.) Season with well placed questions like "why did you choose violence?" Or just "why?!" Making hurt faces Good luck, you got this. [Fist bump] "owww!"
