I phoned the contact from the ad and she took some details, then said she wanted me to get in touch with the hiring manager directly. Got a pen? Yeah, so his name is Ken Wood and you can call him o... I stopped and said, "Are you serious? I'm applying for a job at a food processing plant and the guys name is honest to god, Ken Wood?' She burst out laughing! This happened years ago but another post along a similar theme reminded me of it, so thought I would share.
