I was cleaning my house... When I ran across an old dad-joke daily calender. You know, the one that has a joke a day and you peel it off day by day? Well, I threw it away. My wife saw me do it and asked if I didn't like those jokes anymore. I told her I had bought a replacement dad-joke calender and that the jokes on the old calender were "so last year". Her exasperated sigh was all the applause I needed.
