My daughter is going to be a great dad someday! This exchange happened with my 14yo this afternoon while driving out to a lake for a get-together. Me: I need your help pulling up directions, I've only been out here like 3 times in my life. Daughter: Didn't we go there kayaking once? Me: Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's the only time you've been there. Daughter: Is that the time when you saved that bee? Me: Yeah, except I didn't actually save it. I got it out of the water on my paddle and tried to get it onto the kayak, but it wouldn't move. So in the process of trying to help it, the bee started to attempt to sting me. I freaked out and flung it back into the water. It probably died. Daughter: Wow, what an ungrateful little B! \*I'm so proud.
